Individual Events

Located in the north of Bern Ittingen the event location Stufenbau offers nearly endless possibilities for the successful realization of your event vision. It does not matter if these visions include a private or business occasion, if you invite big or small groups. We are very well prepared and support you from the planning to the implementation of your event! Our freshly renovated building welcomes you with its unique architecture and five event spaces and a garden. The rent includes the event hall, gallery and foyer; further venues can be booked additionally if needed.

On 220 m² and with an impressive ceiling height of 4 meters the event hall welcomes you on concerts, banquets or even fashion shows. There is room for up to 300 people while having an aperitif and a gala may be hosted with 136 additional guests. With a stage, microphone and equipment everything for a successful event needed is included. The gallery is 260 m² big and can host 176 to 300 people. The urban industrial charm of this light space has a special ambience. An additional goodie is the panoramic view which can be enjoyed from this high and asymmetrical room. The entire landscape is presented to you like a piece of art. If needed, this and every other space can be darkened. Due to a room divider-system the gallery can be individually separated and stay flexible. The 80 m² big foyer can be transformed into two spaces. Place a welcome desk, a wardrobe or waiting area on site. Many people say it is the first impression that counts – with a reception on this space you cannot make any mistakes!

A special place in our house is the 50 m² big bar which is presents itself with a stylish and elegant ambiance. It can be used as a meeting room, backstage area or wardrobe. You may also use this space as an open bar or nice pre-dinner drink area for 40 people. On the highest level of this building you can eventually find the lounge. This venue is ideal for an intimate talk. Enjoy the unique view as well as a discrete atmosphere and be amazed by the open architecture. Comfortable seating arrangements can be used to host 20 guests in the lounge.

Depending on the occasion you can also individually choose the equipment and decoration for your dream wedding or family celebration. From flower arrangements to a fully themed party, everything is possible. We are supported by our partner Rentaflor and VXCO Eventtechnik GmbH.

Your Conference at Stufenbau Eventlocation

Of course our spaces can be used to host great business events. If you are planning an international congress, a quiet meeting or a team workshop – we can take care of your needs and realize your plans. Use the various settings for product presentations or launch a new campaign. We would like to support your plans with a projector, screen or speakers desk. If needed, we can also provide experienced technicians which will stand by your side during your event. In the entire building you have Wifi-access. You can also book one of our seminar flat rates which include all vital parts for your event.

An important aspect at every happening: the culinary catering. At the Stufenbau you will be amazed! The team of Ragaz Catering makes sure that only fresh ingredients are used. Excellent quality is a top priority just like sustainable production. When it comes to creating the menu, we are flexible and open for your wishes. Quick snacks or impressive gala dinners – we can do both.

We will create menus, buffets or aperitifs and also serve selected drinks. Our partners Cultivino and the Bernese brewery Felsenau support us in this process. Our 280 m² measuring garden which includes a 8x6 m big tent, stone oven and garden cabin is a special place to enjoy our food and drinks. A spring apéro, summer barbecue or a cozy winter celebration – all year round we create the best! Of course you are free to choose the caterer yourself, if you wish to do so.
