Your events at the KKL Luzern
When the architect Jean Nouvel planned the KKL Luzern he wanted to integrate the unique setting of the Lake Lucerne. Since a building on the water could not be realized, the water was taken to the building. The front view is now divided by three ditches and water can be found on the forecourt as well. These impressive visual characteristics but also the unique sounds in the concert halls make the KKL a popular venue with various artists. Not only the Lucerne Festival and the symphonic orchestra use these premises with their brilliant acoustic, you can also book these exclusive rooms for your private or business occasions.
The showpiece of the KKL Luzern is certainly the Concert Hall that holds up to 1,898 people. Whether rock, pop, jazz or blues – for every musical style it delivers the finest hearing pleasure during an event. The hall measures 2,100 m2 and offers staging options from 210 to 247 m2. A highly modern sound system and 40 height-adjustable stage elements give you plenty of rope when it comes to the realization of your individual event.
The Lucerne Hall promises audiovisual pleasures. With its modern equipment, variable seating options and brilliant sound you can stage here everything from classical concert to comedy show. Recital or large symphony – you have the choice! The hall offers space for 1,800 guests and the balcony may host further 244 people. You may also set up a stand here. Use this plain room to decorate it according to your personal taste.
The Auditorium is ideally suited for cultural events such as film screenings, presentations or discussions. In row seating you may invite up to 1,044 guests. The stage measures 180 m2 and the room is 530 m2 large. For 244 people in rows there is also a balcony that can be combined with a stand.
Much space for highly professional business events
This conference center provides three main rooms that are perfect for your individual business events. They can be combined so that you may dine in the Lucerne Hall and later on enjoy a musical performance at the Concert Hall. The Auditorium is a unique platform for seminars, lectures or conferences as well as for presentations and concerts. Besides from these spacious locations we offer additional rooms for small-scale events.
On the second floor of the building you find six club rooms that can be arranged individually for your requirements. In the course of congresses you may use several additional areas from 56 to 336 m2 for workshops, meetings, lectures or presentations as well as a media room. The Crystal Lounge with its direct view on the Lake Lucerne and its 160 m2 effective area provides another attractive meeting point for receptions or gastronomic events. The room offers a classic ambience and blue color design as well as oval components and different sideboards that are also predestined for individual use.
The Terrace Hall measures 170 m2 and is a clever combination of indoor and outdoor location. Host your product presentation or business meetings here. The light flooded room is also a great for dining. With its direct connection to the terrace this hall is very warm and friendly and it is moreover reachable from the train station via lift. The terrace under the large roof of the KKL Lucerne has its own highlight: During the summer festival the KKL Pavilion is installed here. It can be booked for your unforgettable events from September to December. Its glass façade enables a fantastic vista on the Lake Lucerne and on its area of 320 m2 you can invite up to 230 guests.
Last but not least, the third floor offers three Business and Media Rooms that are equipped with high-end technology. With two times 32 m2 and one room with 65 m2 you may hold intimate meetings, seminars or presentations here with 10 to 50 people. Several foyers also provide on a total of 2,000 m2 a pleasant possibility to welcome your employees, clients or guests.

Of course we provide not only great rooms with brilliant technology but also all relevant services for your event. We support you from the planning of your event to the implementation of it. As a reliable partner by your side we take care of the ticketing and the decoration. We gladly organize floral decoration or giveaways. From security staff to hospitality, multimedia presentations and the fitting advertisement: we make you a customized offer. You may also put up your own merchandising desk and we can publish your event in our journal as well as on our website.
The KKL cuisine team with Executive Chef Bastian Mantey creates culinary delights according to your wishes. It does not matter if you need snacks for your breaks or cold and warm finger food. From buffet and modern innovations to a menu with several courses for more than 800 people, we gladly realize your individual wishes. Of course we use only fresh ingredients from the region and of the highest quality. We are looking forward to your event in our premises!
